Our Club Cottages are available exclusively to sponsored guests of Fisher Island Club Members and offer world-class amenities designed to satisfy finely-tuned expectations for comfort and service. Once the private winter estate of the William K. Vanderbilt II family, the island’s distinctive and luxurious guest accommodations are an oasis of beauty, comfort, and extraordinary style with a touch of old-world charm.

GUIDELINES FOR BOOKING AT THE CLUB COTTAGES
The Fisher Island Club Cottages are available exclusively to Members and their approved guests to provide the added benefit to our Members of having a place for visiting family or friends to stay at Fisher Island.
To ensure a pleasant stay, we kindly ask that you make note of the following procedures when booking a reservation:
- Equity Members and their immediate families may book a Club Cottage 12 months in advance (upon availability).
- Equity Members and their immediate families will have priority on our waiting list (when room inventory is unavailable for the dates requested) for the period starting on their inquiry, up to and including December 31st of that calendar year.
- Equity Members may refer their guests by sending an email to clubcottages@fisherislandclub.com stating their membership number, the names of the guests, their contact information, dates of the visit, and form of payment (specifying if the Club Cottages should charge the
- Equity Member’s account or their guest’s credit card). Please note that the email must be sent from the address the Club has on file. Once approved, our team will contact the Equity Member’s guests directly to proceed with booking their Club Cottages reservation.
- Guests of Equity Members (friends & family) may book a Club Cottage Room 3 months in advance.
- Changes/cancellations must be received at least 14 days before arrival to avoid a cancellation fee of one night room and taxes.
- Groups of 5 rooms or more will be required to provide the full payment 30 days prior to the date of arrival. Changes/ cancellations must be made up to 30 days prior to arrival. Changes/cancellations within the 30-day period will result in forfeiture of the deposit equal to the total stay.
Holiday Periods
- A full payment is required upon booking any holiday periods (New Year’s Day, Presidents’ Day, Easter weekend, Passover, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve). Changes/cancellation after the 60-day period will result in forfeiture of the entire stay.
- Reservations for more than three rooms may not be booked during holiday periods (New Year’s Day, Presidents’ Day, Easter weekend, Passover, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve). Please note, if our records indicate more than three rooms booked, the Equity Member will be prohibited from priority booking for the entire following year.
- Equity Members can book two holiday periods
throughout the year. As a reminder, Equity Members can book three rooms maximum per Club Member. For example: If an Equity Member has a reservation for July 4th and Presidents’ Day, they may not book for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc. This will allow other Equity Members the opportunity to book their favorite holiday. - Only Equity Members and their immediate families can book a Club Cottages stay during holiday periods.

These historic, 1930s-era cottages offer classic, old-world style, modern comforts, and a private walled courtyard with an in-ground jacuzzi. Located next to the Vanderbilt Mansion, marina, and Beach Club, the three cottages are appointed with beautiful French patterns, enhancing the eclectic twists, sumptuous warm fabrics and hints of cool blue that make the rooms both serene and inviting.
Luxury Cottages

Courtyard Villas
Picture yourself opening the French doors and gazing out over your private courtyard with in-ground jacuzzi and lush tropical landscaping. The incredibly comfortable king size bed with crisp Italian Frette linens will have you dreaming sweet dreams on your favorite pillow-type, chosen from our pillow menu – including goose-down and non-allergenic pillows. Alleviate all stress in a soothing shower or a soak in the oversized tub, slip into a plush terry-lined robe and let the ultimate vacation begin. Call for room service and choose from a decadent selection of casual fare and international cuisines.
Guesthouse Suites
Fisher Island’s guesthouse suites are designed with both modern and traditional styles in a mix of warm textures and hints of cool blue that make the rooms both serene and inviting. Our beautifully-appointed bedrooms have comfortable beds outfitted with luxurious Italian Frette linens for a sleep experience like no other. Here too, the classic warm fabric and cool touches of blue are seen throughout.
